Meet The KALEO Team

Sabrina Joseph
Founder of KALEO | Retreat Curator
For over a decade, Sabrina has been curating transformational experiences—from producing large-scale events for global leaders like John Maxwell, TED, and Passion, to running her own event company that brought vision to life through intentional gatherings. But the most meaningful invitation she has received didn’t come from a stage—it came from the quiet voice of God, calling her into deeper healing, wholeness, and a mission.
With years of ministry leadership and current theological training at Dallas Theological Seminary, her foundation is rooted in Christ. And yet, it was through walking out her own healing journey—through trauma and breaking generational patterns—that she realized the Church often lacked a space for whole-person wellness. She longed for a place that integrated spiritual depth with holistic care, but all she found was new-age answers.
So, she followed the prompting to create what I couldn’t find: KALEO. A sacred space for women to realign with God, restore their minds, bodies, and spirits, and rise into their Kingdom calling.
Today, she is passionate about seeing the army of God rise—strong, healed, and whole. KALEO is more than a retreat; it’s a movement to help women live anchored, Spirit-led lives with rhythms of rest, renewal, health and purpose.

Rachel Turner
Hormone Health Coach | Gospel-Centered Teacher
Rachel Turner knows firsthand that true healing is rarely found in a “quick fix.” In her early twenties, she battled panic attacks, anxiety, people-pleasing, painful periods, and persistent breakouts—challenges that led her to dig deep into the root causes of physical and emotional dysfunction. Through prayer, research, and a lot of trial and error, Rachel discovered that real wellness is about stewardship—not just of our bodies, but of every part of our lives.
Today, she is passionate about equipping women to move beyond one-size-fits-all solutions and instead embrace a holistic, Gospel-centered approach to health. She believes that Jesus meant it when He said He came to give us life abundant, and that abundance touches every area of our being—physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual.
Rachel holds certifications as a Hormone Coach, Christian Health Practitioner (CHP), and Fertility Education & Medical Management (FEMM) Instructor. Her teaching is anchored in the belief that our bodies matter to God, and that healing often begins when we invite Him into every layer of our wellness journey.
She lives in Sumter, South Carolina with her husband, new baby Cross, and their beloved chocolate lab, Grizzly.

Jenna Shaffer
Licensed Mental Health Counselor | Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Jenna Shaffer is passionate about helping women experience healing through both biblical truth and evidence-based therapeutic tools. She believes that mental health and emotional well-being are not separate from our spiritual walk, but important parts of it.
For more than a decade, she has helped individuals and couples navigate anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, shame, and life's unexpected hardships. Her approach combines research-backed practices with the life-changing truth of Scripture, creating a safe space where women can process their stories honestly while growing in their faith.
As the creator of Christian Marriage Academy and founder of Christian Millennial Marriages, she encourages people through online teaching, writing, speaking, and social media. Whether sitting across from someone in a therapy session or speaking from a stage, her passion is helping people understand themselves more deeply, experience God's healing more fully, and build relationships that reflect His design.
Above all, her prayer is that every woman who encounters her leaves feeling seen, known, and reminded that no season is wasted in the hands of God. She hopes women walk away with practical tools, renewed hope, and a deeper confidence that Christ is still in the business of making all things new.
Jenna lives in Tampa, Florida, with her husband, David. When she's not counseling or creating content, you'll likely find her decorating her home, walking one of her three rescue dogs, or enjoying the Florida sunshine.

Chef Molly Arnett
Lead Chef
Molly is originally from the heart of Alabama and a proud Auburn University graduate, and her culinary journey took a transformative turn when I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Suddenly, eating became about more than just flavor—it became about health, wellness, and mindful nourishment.
Determined to show that gluten-free food can be vibrant, flavorful, and truly satisfying, she pursued her culinary passion in New York, graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education with a focus on specialty, health-forward cooking.
Today, she combines her love for wellness-driven ingredients with expertise in creating 100% gluten-free, mostly organic, and thoughtfully sourced dishes, delivering meals that are as nourishing as they are delicious.
Her work has been highlighted by exciting experiences, including an appearance on Food Network’s Chopped, and she’s proud to have been voted Best Gluten-Free Chef on the Emerald Coast—a recognition that celebrates her commitment to flavor, wellness, and intentional cooking.
She believes in the power of food to nourish both the body and the soul. Whether she is crafting innovative recipes, designing immersive dining experiences, or sharing my knowledge with others, my goal is to make every bite delicious, thoughtful, and nourishing.

Lindsey Merrick
Leadership Team | Hospitality | Community Lead
Lindsey Merrick first came to Kaleo as a retreat guest in a season of deep personal challenge. Searching for a women’s retreat that put Jesus at the center—not just as a mention, but as the foundation—she found Kaleo. That weekend changed everything.
